Ghosts of My Front Pages Past
Here are the front pages of my old websites, just for fun.
My First Webpage (Spring 1995)
(To be resurrected soon!)
I was hosted by PrairieNet, a freenet in Champaign, Illinois,
back in the text-only days. Ironically, while we were navigating text with Lynx,
a couple students at the local university had recently invented Mosaic,
the first graphical web browser.
Eclecticity (1996-1998)
My first graphical website. I was hosted by Geocities and resided at Athens 4664, back before Yahoo
took over. My site was just as bad as tens of thousands of other personal homepages!
The original GetYourWebsiteHere.com (1999)
The first site for my company, GYWH. I always liked the animation, but
now it looks like such a period site. My
excuse is that I had just bought Dreamweaver 2.
The Millenium GetYourWebsiteHere.com (Dec, 2000)
This was the site with my giant floating head, that moves with the cursor and
cruises back into position under its own power. I am my brand, and my brand is me!
