The HTML Source Code Disguiser This javascript utility converts your HTML code into something humans find hard to read, but browsers handle just fine. Visitors (and robots) who try to Save your pages or use their browser's View Source command to examine or seize your web site html source code will see only a disguised version of your code. The techniques and tricks used by this utility to disguise your html code are copyrighted. This utility will allow you to disguise up to 1000 characters at a time, and adds my comment tags. If you wish to disguise many pages or a whole website, or use this utility in any for-profit context, please contact me. WARNING! The HTML Source Code Disguiser will not prevent your web site html code from being stolen. It only disguises your source code from being viewed easily with the browser's View Source command. A sufficiently determined and clever code stealer will not be stopped by this obstacle. However, the disguised code will confuse and discourage some percentage of code thieves, and that is the most that this HTML Source Code Disguiser can promise or deliver. Note: The HTML Source Code Disguiser should not be used to obscure javascript and other scripts. Some scripts will cease to function properly if you use this utility to disguise them.
