Brief Author's Comments The title of my book, Poems People Like to Silently Move Their Lips While Reading is a hint to the reader. These are poems I have written and rewritten, drafted and redrafted, deconstructed and reconstructed. These are my serious poems. In contrast, the poems collected in Dog Grrl! were usually written in a single sitting, for fun, with only minor revisions. But my friends seem to like the poems in Dog Grrl! better than the serious poems which I've slaved over - oh well! Still Minor are poems from my teens, before 1980, which still interest me for various reasons.
