A Cube with a View
Working as a temp... er, independent contractor, I have worked for a
variety of companies and have inhabited a variety of cubicles. It's rare
to get a cubicle with a window. If the window has a view, it can make up
for an austere, worker-bee cube.
Without a doubt, my current cubicle at Southern
States Coop has the best view that I've ever had. The
Southern States headquarters is located in the near West End of
Richmond, Va, at the Brookfield complex, surrounded by woods. In the
fall, the colors of the
leaves are gorgeous!
Left is the
wonderful view out of my 6th floor window, looking north. Below left
is my pc NT ("It's a Dell!") Below right you see my
chair and my trusty Mac G3. |
